Well, it’s been a busy few weeks dear readers, and apart from a pesky little thing known as « a job » I’ve been spending most of my free time with one fabulous Kathy Ayer from Food Lover’s Odyssey.
And let me tell you, a little food inspiration goes a long way as Kathy is very passionate about regional cuisine and also about sharing her love of French cooking. No complaints here… even though I may have to retire my S of France bikini in favor of what some locals might call “flowy pants” -think cotton… & lots of elastic.
We were able to cross a lot of things off our Provençal “to-do” list, including a visit to Puyricard chocolate factory, an evening spent at a village Aïoli party, and an afternoon touring the beautiful Calanques of Cassis.
Here are a few photos (& a petit video) from our lovely day at this fabled sea town. I’m looking forward to sharing with you more of our local adventures and I’ll really miss Kathy (not to mention her delicious cooking!).

Ahh Tuula, you’re too kind! And these photos definitely captured the beauty of the Calanques. Thank you for being such a great host and had an amazing time in Provence with you. I’m glad you enjoyed the food. I have to say it was so much fun shopping at the markets with all those beautiful and tasty fruits and vegetables available.
